To encourage businesses and their patrons to support our mission of promoting “reduce, reuse, recycle and compost” WasteNot! Frederick would like to invite you to tell us about “green” restaurants in Frederick County.

Tell us your favorite establishment by using the definition of Zero Waste: "…managing products and processes to reduce the volume and toxicity of waste and materials, conserve and recover all resources…" (www.zwia.org)

The results of our “Greenest Restaurants in Frederick County” will be announced at our WasteNot! Frederick Expo which is to be held May 1, 2010. We will also have these restaurants recognized on our website.
